The Slack is back! Right now we are beginning an european tour in madrid. Heading out from there to Bilbao, the Uk, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, and Norway.

We brought some of our new vinyl version of Lost & Found with us. As well as our newest cd & vinyl, The Great Rocksteady Swindle

After Europe we got our Booze Cruises, the Midwest USA, and Eastern Canada coming up. Probably gonna start posting some exciting new gigs for the end of the year and early next year soon.

hey everyone,
as the dust settles from our busy spring, the slackers are getting some well deserved R & R.

but our rest will not be for long, as august comes around we will resume our mission of bringing word of the Slackers' new cd, the great rocksteady swindle to the world. first up, will be a festival heavy tour of europe including stops in spain, the uk, belgium, holland, germany, and norway. second, as september rolls around, we will be ending summer with our traditional new york and boston boat gigs. third, in october we will be hitting the midwest and canada with extended touring through ohio, michigan, pennsylvania, missouri, indiana, illinois, ontario, and quebec. We havent seen those guys for a while and looking at getting reacquainted.

In case you've been under a rock somewhere, our latest cd is the Great Rocksteady Swindle. There are a million ways to hear it. You can get it as a cd, vinyl, or as a download.

In other news, we have put out a new whatevski live release, 'live on the west side.' it features music from recent release parties. check it out at www.whatevski.org

Also, the Lost & Found vinyl is now out! check it out at the slackers' merch table or at the paper or plastic website.

and yes, although we are taking the month of july off from the slackers, we are not exactly relaxing. Vic is playing solo gigs with the Forthrights and Vic, Marcus, and Ara are doing Sic N Mad. Agent Jay is doing several regular dj nights in manhattan and brooklyn as well as working on the next crazy baldhead album. And yes, Im doing Rocksteady 7 at two boots in brooklyn on july 16.

so its been a fun first half of the year for the slackers, lets hope the 2nd half is even better!

Hi everyone,

I just want to thank everyone for all the love we've gotten as we finish up the 1st leg of the Slackers' rocksteady swindle tour. We really couldnt have asked for a better time.

We started the tour out in california and 32 shows later we are finishing it up in boston at harper's ferry.

Its been fun sharing the new songs with you guys and we are planning on continuing our mission in august through the fall. We got festival shows and some club dates in Europe in August, followed up boat gigs, midwestern, and eastern canada dates through the end of october.

Yeh, if you havent been swindled yet, check out the latest slackers release on epitaph, the Great Rocksteady Swindle. Its available on Epitaph in the states/canada, Epitaph Europe in europe (obviously), and Disk Union in Japan. You can get it in cd or vinyl for or download it on whatevsi or itunes. Whatevski has special package versions with bonus dub tracks and live concerts.

Also, in true slacker fashion we just received the vinyl of Lost & Found (our 2009 release). Its courtesy of the lovely people at paper or plastic. It should be available soon on places like Interpunk and at the slackers merch table on tour.

We should have some more limited edition vinyl out by the end of the year. We should also have some more live recording available on whatevski.

Plus coming soon on authority music, will the be the first slackers song put into the Rock Band format, Everyday is Sunday. Yeh, its a brave new world.

So thanks for all the love we have received. We are gonna be out on the road again come august. See you then!

Thanks to everyone for the great turnouts we are having on the Slackers' Rocksteady Swindle Tour!
So far we have had a couple sellouts and a bunch of packed out shows. Regardless of the turnout though,
i got to say Im really thankful for everyone's enthusiasm. I could ask for more love.

So we did Belgium, UK, and Koln. We got the rest of Germany, France, Switzerland, Denmark, and Holland coming up!
We are being joined for many of these dates with an up and coming band from the UK called the Skints, and I know I will finally get to check out the dutch band, the Delegators in Amsterdam.

And to our North American fans...dont think we are ignoring you. We got some east coast dates in early june and we got some tour dates coming up in the midwest and eastern canada that we are just starting to post for september & october!
Sooner or later...we will get around to coming to your town!

And the east coast shows, Im really happy to note that we will be playing with some fun groups including the Caroloregians/Moon Invaders, Karuhata, Jordan Valentine & the Sunday Saints, the Scotch Bonnets, the Forthrights, and Guns of Navarronne. Should be a blast!

Thanks to everyone for a great california & arizona tour!
Really our best one ever! We cant thank all the lovely people who came to the shows enough.

So right now, we are shifting gears and going to europe before we come back and hit the United States again.
