The Slackers

Hi,

so im happy to announce that we have a new recording available for download. Its of our most recent boat show in nyc, and it features guest performances by Happy of Sic n Mad and other friends.

Hopefully, this will be the first of several live recordings that will become available through www.whatevski.org. They have liner notes and everything. Check it out. If you want to hear what we've been doing lately or if you were at the boat show and want a souveneir.

In addition, to keep everyone up to date on the new Slackers stuff that we've been trying to finish.

Well, its not exactly "new", but it has been unfinished.

Over the years, we have recorded a lot of tracks that have never been released.
So the "Lost & Found" project (our working title) is gonna include tracks from 1998 to 2007 that never saw the light of day.

Hey everyone,
just wanted to say hi and happy new years. We had a lot of fun out on the west coast on the SF through Tucson run. Thanks so much for the great turnouts. It became a rolling party!

We are starting out this year with a series of gigs in Texas and Louisiana.

Special is gonna be the 2 nights in Austin! To celebrate this we are putting out a live DVD, "Live From the Flamingo Cantina", its from a show that we did last year.

Yeah, I know, we waited forever to do this, but that's typical slackers fashion.

Also coming up we have some new mp3s that should be out in the next few months while we are getting our mindset for the next major release.

Hey everyone,
we are coming up to our holiday shows. If you havent heard on Dec 20we got our NY annual holiday show (our 4th or 5th annual?) in Brooklyn this year at the Music Hall of Williamsburg (this used to be N.6th back in the day). Then we are off to a new years eve tour in California and Arizona. Should be lots of fun.

For the holiday season, we have put up new mp3s on www.myspace.com/theslackers. The most exciting are 2 versions of "dreidel" which has been the hit of our holiday show since we started playing it.

Hi everyone,
just wanted to put up a post before we head out to Europe.

Much has been happening since my last post.

First order of business is that we are going to be doing a tour of Holland, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, France, and Spain. Fun fun fun.

In our downtime this october Vic and Agent Jay have been at work mixing up a heretofore unreleased new slackers track that we are going to put out for the holiday season.

Thanks so much for the support in brazil and the sold out boat show! we really felt the love! it was unbelievably intense! as of now, we are gonna be hitting the east coast and canada for the next month! come see us in philly and the dc suburbs this weekend!
