Hey Folks, this time I post to thank all of you for your support and love during our European Tour. So many great shows this tour!!! The lovely Vera in Groeningen, Killer show In Koln, the car museum/fire in Brussels before a great show. And then there was England, what can I say! best Indian food:Manchester, worst: Tescos from a microwave ;-(. Great to see so many of you so often, its always cool when you can come to a few shows, some are more relaxed than others, and also to see so many old friends crawling out of the woodwork was a blast. Special cheers to the few stalwarts (Leo) that made it out to the Liverpool show, I thought it was the best of the tour, and to the smallest crowd too! LOndon was of course ridiculous, so busy, so fun, and big up Big Hand! I must also give shout outs to Cannibal Corpse who played with/next to us in Nancy; 2 venues 1 working toilet AAAAGGHH!!!! To you fans at PassPop did you know both Jay and I were bleeding on our instruments that day? How's that for devotion! And of course there was Ernesto's, better than ever! The new ventillation system is awesome! The food was great, the tequilla top shelf, and was I wrong or did we play fo nearly three hours. Finally to the Danish crew that ate dinner with/ near us at Ernesto's, did you really think we would play the sets you wrote for us the second night? That seems to me a fans dream, you write out all the songs you want to hear in the order you want to hear them and the band goes "yeah OK we'll do these." Has any one ever heard of this happening before? As for the band, we had an educational experience at Kenilworth castle, which was; 16 pounds is too much to pay for a castle tour! Thanks again everyone!
Wotcher All, This is my first blog entry so I imagine the pent up anticipation has been excruciating. I hope the wait was worth it. But I digress. The crux of this entry is to thank all the great fans who came out to support us on this last tour of Cananda and the East coast. Highlights range from the Cleveland, Boston, Montreal, and Chicago shows, to the hilarity of Keep it Simple in Quebec City (I wasn't sure the band was gonna make it through that one it was so funny), relocating Flashlight Brown's merchandise in Providence (we put it backstage Thats not stealing!), the pre show in Toronto (Naked tatooed Germans anyone?), and culminating in two killer shows at CBGB's. I'd also like thank everyone for their kind words about "Peculiar" and give a shout out to King Django and the folks at Ernesto's for helping us out with that one. See you all soon as I believe we are playing at least one gig within 150 miles of each one of our fans in the next few months. If not, please email Steve Borden a map, with your house clealy indicated, and he will make sure we play around there soon!
