we've been really busy since the beginning of the year so we're using most of july and august to catch our breath.

But tonight, july 26, we are gonna do something special at Southpaw in brooklyn. Agent Jay, Glen Pine, and Dave Hillyard are gonna dj some of their favorite records. Vic is gonna do an acoustic set and our friends Mighty Fine are gonna do a set rockn'soul.

Once again, a not so subtle reminder that SLACKFEST 3 is this Saturday at Irving Plaza. Its an amazing lineup of us, the Pietasters, and Eli Reed and the True Loves.

To celebrate this, we are having an instore in NYC at Virgin Megastore on Union Square at 7 p.m on april 28. We are gonna play a short set of new material.

I just wanted to say thanks again to all our european fans who really showed a lot of love these past few weeks.  From the beginning to the end of the tour we were blown away by the number of people coming to our shows and their enthusiasm was infectious.  Thank you. Gracias. Obrigado. Danke. Kitos.  Tak.  Now we are turning our attention back to North America.  We got a bunch of US and Canadian dates coming up to coincide with the release of Self Medication.  We are really excited to see what the people think about our new stuff.

Thanks for all the support we have been receiveing on n our current european tour!   special thanks to slovenia and finland for some massive shows!  also big up to berlin, vienna, hamburg, afflenz, olten, and all the towns that have shown us so much love this tour!  

We head into the last week k looking forward to  a few mrre german shows and then portugal and  rude cat festival in girona.  thanks so much!  see you out there!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the 3 shows we just did in Texas. We were blown away by the enthusiasm. We were especially amazed by the 2 sold out nights at the Flamingo Cantina! Wow!

The 2nd night was recorded for a live DVD that should come out by next summer.

In other slacker news,
we have completed music for a new cd entitled, "self medication", that will be out in the USA and Canada on april 15. It will be distributed through Red Eye distribution. We are working on a european and japanese version for june.
